History of Theta Zeta, Alpha State
The Theta Zeta Chapter, sponsored by the Beta Chapter, under the leadership of Mrs. Jennie Reid, Chairman of the Organization and Expansion Committee, was organized in LaPorte High School on Saturday, April 1, 1967, by Dr. Eula Lee Carter, Honorary Sate Founder and State Chairman of the Committee of Organization and Expansion; Miss Phyllis Ellis, State Executive Secretary, Mrs. Ethel Sloan, Past State President; Miss Ella Mae Gehring, State Recording Secretary; and Mrs. Louis Land, Area Director.
